Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to issue a RFP for the construction of an 86,400 square foot addition to the Production Area, a 17,600 square foot Dock and Truck Cell Facility, and a Tour Facility for the Western Currency Facility (WCF)located in Fort Worth, Texas. The magnitude of this project is anticipated to be between $20 million and $30 million. The SIC for this project is 1541. Security clearances for contractor personnel will be required for this project. The solicitation will be available on March 23, 2001. Solicitation requests should reference the solicitation number BEP-01-11. Interested firms are required to submit a written request for a copy of the solicitation. Written requests for the solicitation shall be submitted electronically via e-mail to the following address:gordon.hackley@bep.treas.gov. Only written requests will be honored. The solicitation will be transmitted electronically. Proposals shall be received via regular postal mail or hand carried by the date specified in the solicitation. Due to the large number of drawings, there will be a $200.00 despoit for the drawings. The despoit will be returned to the unsuccessful offerors upon return of the drawings. This solicitation will be full and open using competitive procedures.
