- Description
- Provide all necessary labor, supervision, materials and equipment to upgrade the boat basin at USCG Station Rochester, New York. In general the work includes but is not limited to the following: 1.1) Demolish and remove the existing timber fenders along the bulkhead and replace with vertical fender system consisting of EPDM fenders and backing timbers. Work shall include fabrication and installation of steel connection plates using bolts as shown on the drawings. 1.2) Sawcut and remove existing concrete along the bulkhead and replace with new concrete as shown on the drawings. Placement of wire mesh reinforcing steel and installation of new cleats shall be included. 1.3) Construct a new chain link fence to enclose the Coast Guard leased property as shown. Fencing work shall include fabrication of the access barrier, gates, and other items shown. Installation of line, corner, and gateposts, fence fabric, rails, tension wire, and associated items shall be included. 1.4) Painting of new pavement markings for the Government vehicle and placement of signs as shown. Lettering and markings shall conform with State of New York Highway standards. 1.5) Provision and installation of the new service panel, electrical shore tie, pier lighting, and all associated electrical items as shown. Coordination with Rochester Gas and Electric shall be included. All conduit and wiring installation shall be included. Complete shore side electrical work prior to concrete and fence work. The period of performance is 90 days after Notice to Proceed. This procurement is estimated between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 and is open to both small and large businesses in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code for this procurement is 234990 (formerly SIC 1629). Due dates for quotes will be not less than 30 days after issuance. NO TELEPHONE OR WRITTEN REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
