Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Ashland, KY, has a requirement for Solid Waste Disposal Services. The Base Year of the contract is anticipated to run from date of award through 12 months, with two (4), one year option periods for renewal. The contractor shall provide the following for each year of the contract: Rental of one- 30 yard self contained dumpster; rental of two- 30 yard open top construction, roll-off dumpsters; 52 total pulls of the self contained dumpster; 24 total pulls of the open top construction, roll-off dumpsters. There is an estimated 728 tons of total waste to be removed per contract year. In addition, the contractor shall provide a fixed-fee, flat rate, per month, for residential receptacles for 13 staff houses, which shall include the rental, pick-up, and disposal. It is anticipated that this requirement will result in a Firm-Fixed Price, Requirements type contract. Solicitations will be mailed out approximately 03/20/01.
