Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to purchase the following software on a Sole Source basis from Veritas Software Corp at 1098 Alta Ave, Mt. View, California 94043: Item 0001-NetBackup DataCenter, Windows, NT/2000 Server LicenseV.3.4 Tier 1 (6); Item 0002-NetBackup DataCenter, UNIX Client License V3.4, Tier 2; Item 0003- NetBackup DataCenter UNIX, Client License V3.4, Tier 1; Item 0004-NetBackup DataCenter Library Based Tape Drive Support License V3.4; Item 0005-NetBackup DataCenter Windows NT, Client License, V3.4 Tier 1; Item 0006- NetBackup DataCenter Windows NT Client License, V3.4, Tier 1; Item 0007- NetBackup DataCenter UNIX Server License V3.4, Tier 1; Item 0008- NetBackup Vault Extension License 1 Master 2 TLD Robots; Item 0009 Unlimited Telephone Technical Support Monday through Friday. These items will be acquired utilizing the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The closing date is 2 March 2001. Anticipated award date of 7 March 2001. All items are to be priced FOB DESTINATION, DAHLGREN, VA. Period of performance runs through the end of Fiscal Year 2001. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, this synopsis/solicitation, with an applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/supply. ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. HARD COPY WILL NOT BE PROVIDED. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD Web Site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database.
