Description

The US Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command, Armaments Research, Development and Engineering Center (TACOM-ARDEC), Picatinny Arsenal intends to solicit, negotiate and award on a sole-source basis for seven (7) complete M2 Machine Guns, NSN 1005-00-322-9715 and an additional ten (10) Barrel, NSN 1005- 00-726-6131. The Request For Proposal (RFP) will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c). No hardcopies shall be provided. Vendors wishing to obtain an electronic copy of the RFP may do so via the internet at http://procnet.pica.army.mil than selecting "Business Opportunities" and "Search Local Actions". The estimated release date for the RFP is 23 March 2001. This RFP is restricted to General Dynamics Armaments Systems, 128 Lakeside Avenue, Burlington, VT 05401. This RFP incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the Internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a proposal are instructed to request a copy from the Contract Specialist via email at kgerould@pica.army.mil. Any requests must contain the following information; CAGE Code, Company name and address, Point of Contact with telephone number and email address. A TDP will be provided by regular post after the RFP has been released electronically. See Numbered Notes 9,22 and 26.
