Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-01-Q-0113, applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). In accordance with FAR 19.502(a). This is a sole source to Laser Products, 18300 Mt. Baldy Circle, Fountain Valley, Ca 92708. This is a total small business set-aside. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17 and DCN 20000606. The standard industrial code is 332995 and the business size standard 500 employees. The following items are required: CLIN 0001, a quantity of 150 each surefire weapon light for the Remington 870 shotgun, Laser Products P/N: 618FG. Salient Characteristics are required: light is integral into replacement forend of the Remington 870 shotgun. Light has "momentary on" pressure pad. Constant on switch integrated into replacement forend. Light has a disabler, light produces 65 lumens of light for 1 hour, has a 6 volt lithium powered system and shock isolated bezel assembly. Delivery is required F.O.B. to the following destinations-a quantity of 75 to San Diego, Ca. and a quantity of 75 to Norfolk, Va. 23521. Delivery will be 45 days after award. Final inspection will be at San Diego and Norfolk. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
