Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order to the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel located in Baltimore, MD for conference related support for the 2001 Human resources Training Forum to be held on August 27 through August 31, 2001. Simplified Acquisition Procedures using FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items will be used for this requirement. The contractor shall provide conference and exhibit space and refreshments for approximately 400 attendees. The contractor will provide a general meeting room for approximately 400 attendees and 5 breakout rooms throughout the day. There are no other known sources capable of providing these commercial services. This notice is for informational purposes only. This is not a competitive request for quotation and the Government does not intend to pay for information solicited or received. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of information received. The Government will consider all information from responsible sources within 14 days after the date of publication of this synopsis. See numbered Note 22.
