Description

The Department of Health and Human Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS), plans to award a sole source simplified acquisition to EEI Communications, Alexandria, VA. The contractor shall develop a distinctively formatted report on the prevention of mental illness and the promotion of mental health. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. No solicitation will be issued. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The simplified acquisition anticipated award date is March 12, 2001.
