Description

The VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach, Florida intends to negotiate a sole source contract, under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 (C) as set forth in FAR 6.302-1, with Lucent Technologies for the 5E13 and 5E14 software upgrade for the 5ESS telephone switch. Offerors who believe they can provide this product are invited to submit, in writing, an affirmative response which includes applicable pricing and any information indicating a bona fide ability to meet these specific requirements. All responsible sources may respond to this synopsis and all such responses will be considered. If no written responses are received within fifteen (15) calendar days of this notice, negotiations will begin with Lucent Technologies. See Note 22.
