Description

This is a combined synopsis/RFQ for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Maine and New Hampshire National Guard would like to enter into a contract for meals to be delivered to Loring, Commerce Center, Loring Maine for the period 5 June 2001 through and including 30 June 2001. Meals will start with the lunch meal on 5 June and terminate with the breakfast meal 30 June. Count of actual meals may change either up or down until 15 May 2001. Contractor shall provide meals at a location within 10 minute walking distance of the former NCO Club, Loring Commerce Center. Contractor shall provide meals for the Maine and New Hampshire National Guard as follows: Breakfast shall be a hot complete breakfast. Lunch shall consist of a hot entr e, minimum of 4 oz of any meat product served, salad, milk and another beverage, dessert or fruit. Dinner shall consist of a hot entr e, minimum of 4 oz of any meat product served, salad, milk and another beverage, dessert or fruit. Offers shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable price, adherence to applicable clauses, provisions, and satisfactory past performance record. The government anticipates a Firm Fixed Price purchase order. Incorporated provisions and clauses are as follows. FAR Provision 52.212-1, applies to this acquisition. Offer shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offer Representation and Certification-Commercial Items, which may be accessed on the Internet (http:''www.arnet.gov/far/). Additional applicable FAR Clauses: 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 252.212-7001, 252.204-7004 apply. Note: Oral price quotations will not be accepted for this procurement.
