Description

This synopsis is being issued to modify the initial synopsis posted on 12/01/00. Best Value/Source Selection evaluation factors have been changed. The following evaluation factors are to be submitted: Product Demonstration Models (2 Ea); Past Performance; Socioeconomic Considerations, DLA Mentoring and Javits-Wagner-O'Day. In addition, after receipt of initial proposals, and establishment of the competitive range, the Contracting Officer intends to conduct a competitive, anonymous on-line reverse auction which will be described in the solicitation. Submission of a proposal in response to the solicitation will be considered consent by the offeror to participate in the Competitive Bidding Event (CBE), and to reveal their prices in anonymity during the CBE. All other terms and conditions stiputlated in the initial synopsis dated 12/01/00 are still applicable to the acquisition.
