Description

18. The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Computing Devices Canada for ten (10) sets of MESHnet equipment, and associated engineering services, training and maintenance. Computing Devices Canada is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and owns all related proprietary data and drawings. Each set will consist of Network Access Units (NAU), User Control Devices (UCD), UCD Distribution Boxes (UDB), MESHnet peculiar interface boxes consisting of SINCGARS Control Devices (SCD), KY58 Interface Boxes (KIB1), KY99 Interface Boxes (KIB2). The equipment will be employed in the AN/UYQ3A AirborneMobile Direct Air Support Central (Airborne DASC). MESHnet equipment will interface with the recently fielded MESHnet based AN/TSQ207 Communications Air Support Central (CASC). This will allow the Marine Air Support Squadron (MASS) to achieve the communications platform baseline for the AN/UYQ3A that has been established in the AN/TSQ207. No RFP is available for competitive bidding; however interested parties are encouraged to submit a statement of capability for satisfying this requirement within 15 days of this announcement to the contact person listed above.
