Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is solicited as a request for quotation (RFQ), R1-16-01-013Q. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22. The proposed contract action is set-aside for small businesses. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334220 and the size standard is 750 employees. The following clauses and provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instructoins to Offerors -- Commercial Items; 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items. The evaluation criteria stated in paragraph (a) of this provision are as follows: 1) Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement and 2) Price. Quoter must submit a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items with its quote. 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items apply to this order. All clauses and provisions referenced in this announcement may be accessed at the following website: http://www.arnet.gov/far/current/html/52_000.html DESCRIPTION: We are expanding our current spread spectrum radio control system. The additional system will consist of 3 multichannel hops, with one via a telephone company T1 line and the others being via spread spectrum. The system needs a minimum of 14 channels end to end. The spread spectrum equipment will operate in the 2.4ghz unlicensed band. Supply and deliver F.O.B. destination: 5 each spread spectrum radios, capable of a minimum of 384K data rate, V.35 data interface and type N antenna connectors, similar to a P-Com model S384K; 7 each multiplexers capable of a minimum of 14 voice channels and must accept various channel cards such as E&M, FXS, FXO, etc., must be capable of generating ring signal for FXS cards and programming the individual channel cards for data rate, 2-wire or 4-wire, signaling, etc. Interface to radios must be V.35 and product must be similar to Rad Data Communications Kilomux-2000; 38 each channel cards (72 each if single channel cards) E&M cards programmable for 2-wire or 4-wire with programmable signaling for the above multiplexers. At a rate of 24kbps per channel, the audio quality must be such as to allow fax transmission at a rate of 4800bps. Audio and signaling connections to the channel cards must be via RJ-45 jacks. 5 each antennas, 24db gain with all mounting hardware. Feed line connector must be type N female. 7 each V.35 cables, minimum length 5 feet. Cables must contain appropriate ends to connect multiplexers to the spread spectrum radios or to a CSU/DSU with a V.35 interface. Deliver F.O.B to Lolo National Forest, Building 24, Fort Missoula, Missoula, Montana 59804. The Government requires delivery 30 days after receipt of order.
