- Description
- The US Army Aviation and Missile Command plans to issue Request for Proposal DAAH23-01-R-0462 for the acquisition of 41 each Life Raft/Survival Packages for the UC-35 aircraft. This effort will be sole source to Winslow Life Raft Company. Research and evaluation comparisons using various life raft/survival packages for performance and durability have been completed and the Winslow model was the only acceptable life raft survival package to ensure that survivors have the best possible chance for rescue in the event of having to ditch the aircraft in open water.
