Description

Principle components of the work under this acquisition include: (1) furnishing and placing approximately 930 Sq yds of hot mix bituminous overlay, (2) remove and replace approximately 31 cu yds of concrete on trashrack structures, (3) modify approximately 370 feet of crane rail, (4) miscellaneous items -- raise 2 manhole covers, raise approximately 50 drain access covers, raise stilling well hatch, install 30 new survey monitoring points, and reference and reinstall 5 existing monitoring pins, (5) furnish and install a polyethylene cap on approximately 1100 feet of parapet wall, (6) furnish and apply epoxy type sealent on approximately 1600 sq ft of curb. The estimated price range of the work is $250,000 to $500,000. The work is located approximately 51 miles northeast of Rawlins, Wyoming, and approximately 56 miles southwest of Casper, Wyoming in Carbon County. Solicitation packages are anticipated to be available on March 16, 2001. The bid opening is tentatively scheduled for April 17, 2001, at the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, Wyoming Area Office, 705 Pendell Boulevard, Mills, Wyoming 82644. The contract is to be completed within 185 days. There is no charge for the first copy, additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each. After issuance the solicitation may be viewed, without charge, at the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Region Office, Room 2031, Federal Building, 316 North 26th Street, and at the address listed above for the Wyoming Area Office. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The small business size standard is $17,000,000 and the NAICS code is 234920.
