Description

SOLICITATION NOTICE: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to complete renovations for the MDF HVAC Upgrade at the Philip J. Philbin Federal Office Building in Fitchburg, MA. Work includes but is not limited to: remove existing mechanical equipment (VAV boxes), remove and relocate existing thermostat, exhaust fan; patch existing ceiling and walls; furnish and install new rooftop condensing unit, ceiling mounted 2 ton evaporator/fan unit; fur4nish and install 2 new breakers in existing panelboard, and complete all necessary electrical power connections. The estimated cost of this project is below $25,000.00. NAICS Code is 235110. Period of performance is sixty (60) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Bidders are required to verify the number of amendments prior to bid opening with the Contracting Officer. The due date for receipt of bids is on or about March 16, 2001 at 2:00 pm.
