Description

The National Weather Service (NWS) is acquiring construction services, to provide all labor, materials, and supervision to perform repairs to the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system at the National Weather Service Weather Forecast Office (WFO) in Jacksonville, FL. The work will include, but not be limited to the replacement of condensing units, slot diffusers, a Carrier Comfort Network System for HVAC control to conform with new sequence of operations and room temperature sensors; provide new silicon controlled rectifiers, outside air control dampers, new workstation, a graphical user interface and HVAC control system training; relocate outside air temperature sensor and incidental related work. The Government will commission this project under a separate contract with a commissioning agent. Completion time for this project is one hundred twenty (120) days from the date of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The SIC Code for this project is 1711 and the NAICS code is 23511. The estimated construction cost is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
