Description

The work to be performed under this acquisition includes: (1) furnishing and placing approximately 250 tons of aggregate base course, (2) furnishing and placing approximately 175 tons of hot plant mix bituminous pavement, (3) furnishing and placing approximatley 25 tons of emulsified asphalt chip seal coat, (4) furnishing and placing approximately 200 tons of chip coat aggregate, (5) removing and disposing of existing bituminous pavement and subgrade, and (6) providing traffic control during the placing of the items listed above. The estimated price range of the work is $100,000 to $250,000. The work is located near the Glendo Powerplant, which is approximately 5 miles east of Glendo, Wyoming in Platte County. Solicitatin packages are anticipated to be available on March 29, 2001. Requests for solicitation packages should be received on or before April 17, 2001. The bid opening is tentatively scheduled for May 1, 2001, at the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, Wyoming Area Office, 705 Pendell Boulevard, Mills, Wyoming 82644. The contract is to be completed withing 185 calendar days. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation, additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each. After issuance, the solicitation may be viewed at the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Region Office, Room 2031, Federal Builing, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana, and at the address listed above for the Wyoming Area Office. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The small business size standard is $7,000,000 and the NAICS code is 234110.
