Description

The Forest Service requires construction of a fire lookout tower to replace the one that burned in August of 2000. Demolition and cleanup of the existing building is also needed. The project is located on the Sula Ranger District, Bitterroot National Forest, Ravalli County, Montana. This project will be advertised as a written quotation, and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Quotes are due April 13, 2001. The estimated start work date is May 1, 2001. The performance period is approximately 90 calendar days. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered.
