Description

The VA Medical Center, Miami has a requirement for Cardiovascular Perfusion services. The Contractor will provide a Perfusionist upon request to fulfill the requirements of the solicitation. Contractor Perfusionist shall be qualified and certified to operate the Heart Lung Machine, Cell-Saver machine, Balloon Pump and other equipment as needed. Perfusionist services shall be available 24 hours per day, seven days a week, 365 days per year. Contractor Perfusionist shall be certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion. Perfusionists providing services under this contract shall meet all professional certifications and licensing as required. Qualifications will be subject to review by the VAMC Chief of Staff. This acquisition is unrestricted and NAICS Code 621999 applies. Requests for solicitation package shall be submitted in writing to the above stated address or faxed to (305) 324-3280. Telephone requests will not be honored. Contract term is for a period of one year, March 10, 2001 through March 9, 2002. Solicitation will be issued 2/26/01. Offers are due in by 2:00 PM March 6, 2001.
