Description

This solicitation requires the supply of equipment with operators to perform a variety of tasks associated with forest management. Projects will depend on equipment ability and include, but not be limited to: slash piling, slash crushing, planting site preparation, road closure, road obliteration, road rehabilitation, snow plowing, general construction. This will be a requirements contract. Award will be made on estimated minimum hours. Government will evaluate contractor's past performance, technical capabilities and pricing. Award will be based on the best value for the Government. The Contractor shall furnish all equipment, fuel, maintenance, supervision, transportation, materials, tools and supplies, (except those designated as Government-furnished) and incidentals to perform the work specified. Estimated issue date is March 20, 2001 and estimated open date is May 1, 2001. Approximate start work date is June 1, 2001. Project work will be performed on the Winema National Forest, Klamath County, Oregon. This is a total small business set-aside.
