Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Austin Automation Center, intends to issue a sole source commercial contract to Microsoft Corporation for renewal of Base Premier Support Services. The nature of these services is to report problems and to download program updates to Microsoft products. No solicitation document currently exists, and requests for such will be considered non-responsive. Responses to this notice must be in writing and must be received by 3 pm on February 27, 2001. Third party firms will be considered only if responding with clear and convincing evidence that the firm has been granted rights by Microsoft Corporation to provide the services being procured. The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published.
