Garrett/ (210) 671-1765/ fax: (210) 671-1199/ quina.garrett@lackland.af.mil DESC: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) Submit written quotes (oral quotes/offers will not be considered), on requisition F41636-01-T-C0083, to fax number (210) 671-1199. Project is the purchase of 300 Desert camouflage Gortex parka and pants. Parka and pants are to be the reversible, 3-color desert pattern, gortex material only. No substitute materials acceptable. Items are to be provided in the following sizes: small (20 sets); medium (120 sets); large (120 sets); X-large (40 sets). Delivery is to be within 30 days of award, to FOB destination 4880A Alabama Road, Moody AFB, Georgia 31699. Include delivery cost in quote. This purchase is restricted to small business, size 500 employees. This solicitation document incorporates provision and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23, North American Classification Industry System (NAICS) 315228. Note that the provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Terms, applies to this acquisition. In addition, the clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and conditions required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, apply to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable: FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans; FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for the Handicapped Workers. The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically the following clauses are also applicable: DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program. Offerors must include with their offers a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification-Commercial Items. Also applicable by reference is DFARS 252-204-7004, Required Central Contracting Registration (CCR). The CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet website www.ccr2000.com or by calling 1-888-227-2432. . Confirmation of CCR registration must be obtained before award can be made. Award will be based on meeting the requirement, evaluation of lowest price, and responsible offer/quote. Send quote to the point of contact indicated above. Quotes are required to be submitted not later than 4:00PM (CST), 9 March 2001, and acceptance must be good for 30 days. Award is anticipated to be made in March 2001. Quoters must be small business.
