Description

The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Wildlife Services (WS), 2110 Miriam Circle, Bismarck, North Dakota, intends to procure 1170 gallons of glyphosate-based aquatic herbicide and 150 gallons of 90% nonionic surfactant. Submit faxed quotations to "Purchasing Section," at (612) 370-2136, Attention Joanne Mann.. QUOTATIONS ARE DUE MARCH 15, 2001, BY 10:00 a.m. local time. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-21. SPECIFICATIONS: Approximately 1170 gallons of Glyphosate-based aquatic heribcide registered for the control of cattails, to be furnished in 30 gallon recycleable containers and delivered to specified sites in North Dakota and South Dakota, to be determined after helicopter pilot requirement has been met,. The herbicide must be registered with the EPA and meet the standards set forth for use in North Dakota and South Dakota. Approximately 150 gallons of 90% Nonionic surfactant approved by the North Dakota Wildlife Services. The contractor shall be responsible for the return shipping of the 30 gallon recycleable containers.
