Description

Background "This acquisition is for 1 each upgrade of the Mahr part number 130B-24 and replace existing Mahr part number 130B- 16 gage block comparator equipment 1 each with brand name or equal to the Mahr Federal, Inc. gage block comparator part number 130B-56W1. This item must be dual head system. This item, part number 130B-56W1, will be used in the calibration of square and rectangular gage blocks ranging in size from 0 to 4 inches and from 0 to 24 inches. The gage block comparator will comprise of amplifier, step switch, hand/foot switch, laptop controller, and soak plate. Installation and training and 5-year extended warranty is required. Provide 1 each large platen for item 130B-24. Prospective quoters' may submit using facsimile machine at (931) 454-7330. The solicitation will be available at the following Internet site: http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil/ approximately 16 February 2001 with quotes due 2 March 2001. This solicitation is a small-business set-aside. Delivery to Arnold AFB, TN shall be within 60 days after purchase order is issued. FOB Destination. This Modification is to remove the small-business set-aside for this acquisition."
