- Description
- Note 25. The Government is seeking information on Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS)Non-Developmental Item (NDI) Radar Systems capable of being integrated onto the Army's Airborne Reconnaissance Low (ARL) Platform. The system's basic capabilities must include Moving Target Indication (MTI) both ground and marine and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) at standoff ranges exceeding 50 kilometers. Specific capabilities which are desired are listed in a clasified annex to this announcement that is available by contacting the Contracting Officer at the address listed below. Responses should include: (1) information on system size, weight (less than 100 pounds), and power requirements (less than 8Kva unregulated 400Hz+/-60Hz 3 phase AC prime power); (2) technical capabilities relative to the listed requirements; (3) test data or reports supporting capabilities; (4) availability and approximate system cost excluding integration; (5)immediate off-the-shelf availability; (6) greater than 100Km MTI/SAR capability; (7) MTI radar dectection range (maximum, minimum versus RCS targets/ground clutter); (8) detection performance Pd against ground and sea targets in clutter environment (include minimum detectable velocities and FA rates); (9) performance under degraded weather conditions; (10) concurrent MTI and SAR real-time processing; (11) range and azimuth resolution and coverage of MTI and SAR; (12) MTI and SAR target location accuracy (with navigation/GPS interface); (13) SAR maximum range; (14) MTI overlay on SAR image (comprehensiveness and quantity); and (15) Dimensions and weight. Responses up to SECRET can be accepted. Any data considered company proprietary should be plainly marked. Support contractors with hardware exclusion agreements in the topic areas who are dedicated to program office contracts will have access to the data.
