Description

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is pleased to announce the solicitation of the Oroville, Washington, USA and Osoyoos, British Columbia, Canada Shared Border Station Phase 2 and 3 construction project. This 9,290 square meter (100,153 square feet) multiple facility is set on a 9.2 hectare (22.8 acre) site. The development will accomodate U.S. and Canadian inspection agencies' increased requirements and replaces inadequate facilities. Phase 2 facilities include a Main Port Building that will be shared between the U.S. and Canada, and separate U.S. and Canadian facilities for commercial and secondary inspections. Site work includes impound, traffic lanes, and parking for about 178 vehicles and 64 trucks. Phase 3 replaaces the present U.S. APHIS facility. This job is preceded by separate Phase 1 demolition and utility contract. It will be awarded by the U.S. Government. Full occupancy for Phase 2 and 3 is planned for October 3002.
