Description

This acquisition is for certain public works and other municipal services to be provided at the Presidio of Monterey (POM) and the Ord Military Community (OMC)(portions of the former Fort Ord, California retained by the Army). The Cities of Monterey and Seaside, California under a Cost Reimbursement-No Fee Contract are currently providing these services. These comprehensive support services include providing all management, supervision, labor, tools, materials, equipment and transportation for services that could include the following -- Maintenance of: Water Distribution System; Waste Water Collection System; Storm Water Collection System; Tree Inspection, Trimming and Removal; Street Maintenance and Repair; Fencing Maintenance and Repair; Fire Alarm Maintenance; Elevator Maintenance; HVAC Maintenance and Repair; Carpentry, Painting, Electrical, Plumbing, Masonry, and Lighting. The work also includes manning a 24hour/7day a week Trouble Call Desk, performing preventative maintenance, emergency and routine work. The period of performance is approximately 1 September 2001 through 31 May 2002 with four (4) one-year option periods. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 8744, North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561210 and the Small Business Size Standard is $20 million. In order to receive an award, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR). Firms not registered in the CCR will not be considered. This will be a Cost type contract. The requirement is unrestricted. All requests for the solicitation document must be postmarked no later than April 6, 2001. Only written requests for the solicitation will be honored.
