The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Combatant Craft Department will be hosting the 4th Annual Multi Agency Craft Conference (MACC) at Little Creek Amphibious Base, Norfolk, Virginia, June 19 through 21. This year's theme is "Acquisition Solutions" and will focus on the Defense Systems Commands (Navy, Marine Corps, Army, Special Operations, and Coast Guard) current craft acquisitions policies and programs. This notice announces a Call for Presentations on potential topics that include: DoD Systems Command's Organization and Responsibilities DoD Acquisition Process and Policies How Industry can do Business with DoD Agencies Industry Perspective on Recent Government Acquisitions Lessons Learned in Recent Acquisition Programs Upcoming Acquisition Programs The MACC provides a forum for open exchange and discussion about boats and craft between Government agencies and the maritime community. This year's conference will offer keynote speakers, concurrent presentations, discussion panels, in-water craft/boat displays and demonstrations, static display of boats/craft and related equipment, and social events for the participants to network in an informal setting. Please consider presenting, as members of the boat and craft communities from the Navy, Marine Corps, Army, Special Operations, and Coast Guard gather with Industry to develop Acquisition Solutions.
