Description

Provide a stern fairlead and frame assembly for the receive subsystem that can launch, tow and retrieve the Multi Function Towed Array (MFTA) at variable depths during sea tests. The scope of this effort shall include design, analysis, fabrication, logistic support, testing, installation support, and project management for one MFTA Stern Fairlead and Frame Assembly (SFFA). The SFFA must meet the shipboard strength requirements defined by the U.S. Coast Guard and be able to deploy, tow, and retrieve the MFTA. The SFFA must be capable of providing full support of the multiple diameters of cable and reel tow cable at high speed and various tow-off angles with no damage to the tow cable. The proposed contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals by required due date. The Government intends to award sole-source to ODIM Spectrum Ltd., Ontario, Canada.
