- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. The Request for Quotation number is DTCG89-01-Q-JNE227 and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-21. This solicitation is unrestricted. The Sic Code is 7011/NAICS 721110. The contract type will be Firm Fixed Price. The Government proposes to solicit quotes for the following: Lodging in the Ketchikan, Alaska area. General specifications of lodging services for all rooms: all rooms must have access to restrooms/bathing facilities located within rooms. Lodging shall include all linens and room cleaning service as well as change of linens minimum of three times weekly. Lodging period will be 13-18 March 2001 through 29 March _ 2 April 2001. The approximate total number of rooms needed is as follows: Forty-five(45) singles, one-hundred and twenty-seven(127) doubles and rooms for 200 people (2-4 per room). One source may not provide all the required rooms. One(1) single and sixty-six(66)double rooms must be within one-half mile of the Harbor Master Parking lot. The rental of the twenty-nine (29) doubles and one(1) single will be from 17-31 March 2001. A minimum of twenty-nine(29) doubles and one(1) single must be in one facility separate from the others. The remaining thirty-seven(37) doubles and three(3) singles will be from 18-31 March 2001.Twenty-five(25) doubles and eleven(11) singles must be within on-half mile of the Ted Ferry Center and the Ketchikan City Pier. Nineteen(19) of the doubles and twenty-eight(28) of the singles will be from 13-30 March 2001; Twenty-five(25) of the doubles and four(4)singles will be from 16-30 March 2001; and three(3) of the rooms will be from 18-30 March 2001 and four (4) each from 17-30 March 2001. Seventeen(17) doubles and five(5) singles must be in one facility with direct access to water from their berthing site, be remotely located and be able to provide three(3) meals a day, including box lunches for those who miss a meal for the period of 19-30 March 2001, for forty(40) people. Rental will be from 17-30 March 2001. Two-hundred persons must be housed within one-half mile of Alaska General Processors; where their meals will be served. Rental will be from 17-30 March 2001 and all must be in the same facility.
