Numbered Notes 1, 9 and 26 are applicable. Subject solicitation will be issued as a Total Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. Item: Anti-Exposure Socks, CWU 75/P. NSN: 8475-01-412-0949(s). Subject solicitation will utilize Best Value-Source Selection procedures. Evaluation factors will be Past Performance, Industrial Mobilization (Surge Capacity)and DLA Mentoring Business Agreements. First Articles will be required. Solicitation will be issued as an Indefinity Delivery Type Contract with 3 term year options. Base year Minimum/Maximum quantity is 2767 pr./4000 pr. All Option year Minimum/Maximum quantities are 6200 pr./11500 pr. Specification is MIL-S-29566 dated 19 Oct 1990. Destinations are New Cumberland, PA and Tracy, CA. Deliveries will be required to begin 180 days after date of award. Anticipated issuance date of solicitation is April 18, 2001. Anticipated date for receipt of offers is 30 days after solicitation issueance. All materials will be contractor furnished.
