Description

DESC: The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Midwest Area, has the following requirement: 2 Each, 800 Horsepower, dual fuel, natural gas & fuel oil fired, 100 PSI Operating Pressure, 26,780 BTU steam-producing boilers. This is a synopsis for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Proposal are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. Request for Proposal No. 5114-1-3151 will be available on or about 12 March 2001, with proposals to be received not later than 2:00 P.M. (CST), 6 April 2001. FOB: Destination -- National Animal Disease Center, Ames, IA 50010. Required delivery date: 10 August 2001. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22. Buy American Act applies. This solicitation is issued pursuant to full and open competition. Any responsible contractor may submit a proposal. The NAICS Code is 421720.
