Description

The VA Medical Center, Coatesville, PA is soliciting Bids for the following project. This project is for the pulling of Telecommunication Cable between several buildings at this VA Medical Center. The Contractor is to supply all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to accomplish the installation of new telephone and communications cable through existing underground conduit and tunnel access areas. It will include all electrical requirements and block outs for existing lightning protection systems. This solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business, and the NAICS code is 235310 with a determination level of $11.5 million. The cost range for this project is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation packages will be available by February 23, 2001, and all requests for these packages must be in writing, and must be forwarded to the POC noted above by either mail or facsimile at (610) 383-0235. No telephone requests will be accepted. Requests are encouraged from small veteran owned, small women owned and small disadvantaged businesses. Due to the locations and access to buildings, tunnel systems and underground conduits, it highly recommended that each Contractor interested in this solicitation schedule a site visit to examine all requirements within this project. As noted above all Bids are due on March 23, 2001, at 2:00PM local time.
