Description

This requirement includes the installation, systems checks after installation, maintenance, and one-year warranty required to upgrade the power system for the Information Technology Summit in Building 1575 at Scott AFB, IL. The contract type for award will be Firm-Fixed-Price and the basis for award will be the Past Performance Trade-Off process. The technical solution consists of nine (9) 225 amp 42-circuit 120/208 volt panels with shunt trip main breakers, three (3) 225KVA transformers capable of powering three 225 amp panels, one (1) 1200 amp 480/277 volt service panel to power the three transformers, and all wiring and conduit necessary to link the system together. The 1200 amp panel must be tied into the building's existing UPS system. Alternative technical solutions may be evaluated. At least one master or journeyman electrician must be on site at all times. All new circuit breaker panels and circuit breakers must be compatible with the existing equipment in use. A site visit date will be scheduled and all potential offerors are highly encouraged to attend. The formal solicitation, including the statement of work, will be released on March 9, 2001. The estimated contract completion date will be approximately thirty days after award. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, and that proposal shall be considered by the contracting office. The contracting office will accept these proposals in hard copy or by electronic fax at (618) 256-2652.
