Description

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) plans to award a sole source purchase order, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, to continue facilitation and team building services for the GPEA and Termination Compliance Division. This work is a continuation of services performed by the contractor on existing projects. The current provider has capabilities and knowledge gained from previous performance of similar services for PBGC. PBGC requires existing knowledge of our corporate structure and cross-departmental relationships. The responsibility requires expert knowledge in quick turn-around team end products. The contractor must have intimate knowledge of the structure, working methods and customer base of PBGC. It is in the PBGC's best interests for the same contractor to perform these services to ensure the expertise necessary for timely completion of these services. This notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order is not a request for quotation. See Note 22.
