Description

Contractor shall provide technical services, parts, equipment, software and any other product or serviuce necessary to maintain in full working order the Smithsonian Institutions electronic security systems encompassing intrusion detection, access control, CCTV control and watch tour functions. Contract services include: periodic inspections, preventive and on-call maintenance, make repairs, furnish and install replacement parts and equipment and softwre upgrades to keep security systems in optimum working condition. The Smithsonian Institution locations include various museum buildings in Washington, DC and New York City. Contract performance periods include 1 year base service with four 1-year option periods. The estimated date of issuance of the Request For Proposal is 23 March 20001. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which, if timely received, shall be considered by the Smithsonian
