Description

This correction is issued for the purpose of providing additional descriptive information and correcting the web site provided in the initial synopsis posted on February 5, 2001 and the first modification posted February 9, 2001. As shown above the subject of this synopsis is changed from FUSE POSITIONING SYSTEM to "SEISMIC FUSE POSITIONING SYSTEM." The Description should read: The US Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement for DESIGN, MANUFACTURE, AND TESTING of a "SEISMIC FUSE/POSITIONING SYSTEM" (S/F/PS). The S/F/PS is a component of the X Band Radar (XBR) Antennae Mount Base Isolation System. The XRB is part of the National Missile Defense System. This will be an UNRESTICTED ACQUSITION that will result in a FIRM FIXED PRICED CONTRACT. A PRE-SOLICITATION MEETING WILL BE HELD: February 28, 2001 and March 1st and 2nd, 2001 at Double tree Hotel. LOCATION: 835 Airport Blvd, Burlingame, CA 94010 PHONE (650) 344-5500. The hotel is near the San Francisco Airport (SFO).
