Description

This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Offer (RFO) for 500 MHZ and 250 MHZ High Speed PXI Digitizers. Item No. 1 High speed two-channel, 500 MHZ, 2G/S 6U Compact PCI Digitizer Card with Standard 256KPTS Memory. Acqiris Instruments PN DC240 or equal. Quantity 10 ea. Item No. 2 Four-channel, 250 MHZ, 1GS/S 6U Compact PCI Digitizer Card with Standard 128 KPTS Memory. Acqiris Instruments PN DC270 or equal. Quantity 10 ea. Item No. 3 Eight-Slot 6U Compact PCI Mainframe for Items 1 and 2. Acqiris Instruments PN CC108 or equal. Quantity 4 ea. Item No. 4 6U to 3U Slot Adapter with Special EMI Shielding. Acqiris Instruments PN XC100 or equal. Quantity 15 ea. Item No. 5 Rack-Mount Kit for Item 3. Acqiris Instruments PN XC108 or equal. Quantity 4 ea. The provisions and clauses in the RFO are those in effect through FAC 97-21. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code is 336311 and the small business size standard for this procurement are 500 employees respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to MSFC is required within 30 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Offers for the items(s) described above are due by 4:30 p.m., CST, on March 14, 2001, and may be mailed to Teresa A. Foley, PS52B, MSFC, AL 35812 or faxed to 256-544-2812 and must include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Offerors are encouraged to use the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items form found at URL: http://procure.arc.nasa.gov/Acq/Forms/Index.html to submit a offer. Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1. Exceptions to FAR 52.212-1 are as follows: (d), (h), and (i). If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the offeror shall so state and shall list the country of origin. FAR 52.212-4 is applicable. Addenda to FAR 52.212-4 are as follows: 52.204-4, 52-211-15, and 52.247-34. FAR 52.212-5 is applicable and the following identified clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-5(b), 52.222-27, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.225-3, and 52.232-34.
