Description

The Government intends to procure from Raytheon Systems Company, three PSC-5 radio units on a sole source basis. The following items will be provided: 3ea. Radio RT-1672/U (C) Version 6.2 724779-801, 3ea. Battery Box Assembly 724428-801, 3ea. Handset H250/U, 3ea. Antenna flexible LOS V/UHF 812059-2, 3ea. Interface cable AN/PSC-2A 422346-1, 3ea. Retransmit Interface Cable 422349-1, 3ea. Retransmit cable AN/PSC-5 422367-1, 3ea. Satellite Antenna cable 422368-1. Delivery is FOB Destination to Commanding Officer, ATTN: Supply Officer, MCTSSA Bldg. 31345, Camp Pendleton, CA 92055. Delivery is 10 Months ADO. Anticipated award date is on or about 23 March 2001. This is not a request for quotations (RFQ) or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Requests for copies of an RFQ for information only will be honored. Any responsible firm that believes that it has the capacity to satisfy this requirement, may contact the referenced contract specialist or the contracting officer or submit a quotation in writing. This is a non-competitive action with intent to award to Raytheon System Company, 1010 Production Road Fort Wayne, IN 46819. This noncompetitive action is justified in accordance with 13.106-1(b). Only one responsible source is reasonably available that will satisfy agency requirements. The agency requires the exact radios currently fielded in order to accurately assess integration and interoperability with the existing C4I systems. All responsible sources may submit a quotation in writing, which shall be considered by the agency. See Note 26.*****
