Description

Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required transport and stage all dredging equipment, barges and other appurtenances necessary to accomplish dredging work. Base Work included: Dredge the boat basin (Approx 2200 cy) to the limits and cross sections using mechanical or hydraulic means. Dredged material shall be deposited onto barges for later offloading. Offload material from barges onto trucks for hauling and disposition of dredge spoils to a disposal site obtained by the Contractor and approved by the State of Michigan. Spoils consist of 92 percent clean sand with no contaminants. Moor barges in areas designated on drawings. Marine Surveyor licensed by the State of Michigan to perform before and after dredge soundings to determine the amount of dredge materials removed. Computations from survey will be used to determine the actual amount of dredging for payment. Unit Work Item providing price per cubic yard will be requested. The estimated range of this procurement is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00, and in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program is open to both small and large businesses.
