Description

Presolicitation notice to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to repair, rehabilitate, and upgrade approximately 675 linear feet of earth embankment dam. The work will include: installation of concrete armoring, installation of sheet piling; installation of bank stabilization fabric; and installation of government furnished riprap and riprap bedding; repair of the downstream dam face. The project is located at the Kulm Wetland Management District, Kulm, North Dakota. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 21, 2001. Performance period is 90 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Work is scheduled for completion during this calendar year. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered. Acquisition will be open to large and small businesses. Estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. There is no charge for solicitation documents. To insure there is an adequate number of solicitations reproduced, please submit your request for invitation for bids to the Contracting Officer by March 6, 2001.
