Description: Aircraft cleaning and corrosion protection services. The contractor shall furnish all items and services necessary to provide aircraft cleaning and corrosion protection services for 459th AGS/ 459th Airlift Wing, Andrews AFB, MD. It is anticipated that two blanket purchases agreement will be awarded. This acquisition is 100 % Set-Aside for Small Business. The period of performance will be for a five-year period. The solicitation package will available for viewing on/or about 1 March 2001. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation, notices and all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPS) site at www.eps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors interested in submitting proposals must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr2000.com. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government_s ultimate approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation cost.
