On Wednesday, May 9, 2001 the FAA Technical Center is hosting an on-site Technology Expo that will take place from 10:00 a.m. -- 2:00 p.m. This event is advertised to the National Scientific Test Base for FAA Research, Development, and Acquisition Programs. The FAA Center activities involve test and evaluation in air traffic control, communications, navigation, airports and aircraft safety, and security. Activities involve long range development of new equipment and software and in-service modification of existing systems and procedures. Our May 2000 Expo had over 550 attendees with 491 sign-ins! With strong support from our sponsors, we expect another outstanding event! Technologies of interest include, but are not limited to: Internet, CD-ROM, LAN, Storage Devices, Workstations, Multimedia, Scanners, Imaging, Plotters, VTC, Telecommunications, Presentation Systems, Color Printers, Laptops, Notebooks, Network Security, Office Automation, CAD/CAE/CAM, Connectivity, and Digital Imaging. The FAA has a bigger budget than most Federal Agencies! Don=t let the chance to exhibit your technologies pass you by!!
