Gift SHOP DRAFT RFP REQUEST FOR COMMENTS AND POTENTIAL SOURCES Office of Procurement -- U.S. House of Representatives The U.S. House of Representatives (House) seeks comment on, and interested parties in, a draft Request For Proposal (RFP) to establish a concessionaire type contract relationship with a private entity or entities which will provide for designated facilities within the House of Representatives Office Complex for the sale of gift, educational convenience and souvenir items for the benefit of Visitors, Members and staff. The draft RFP calls for a base period of 24 months. Comments, questions, and vendor information will be received in the Chief Administrative Office, Office of Procurement, U.S. House of Representatives, 359 Ford House Office Building, until 12:00 noon, March 16, 2001 or can be sent via email to: OPPS@mail.house.gov No telephone requests for a draft RFP package will be accepted, but requests can be faxed to (202) 226-2213, attn: Jim Dehlinger: RFP No. SHIR20DRAFT or downloaded from the Office of Procurement web page by going to: http://www.house.gov/cao-opp/currentsol.htm.
