Description

17. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, personnel, equipment, tools/materials, and all other necessary materials necessary to provide Solid Waste Collection & Disposal for the Installation to include Army Family Housing . Work shall include, but not be limited to, solid waste collection, transportation and disposal of waste. Collection of waste shall consist of collecting bulk waste, curbside collection, recyclable paper collection, recyclable yard waste (grass, leaves, hedges, etc), Christmas tree collection, disposal of animal carcasses, solid waste from special events. Resulting contract will be firm fixed price. A base year and four option periods is contemplated. Base year and options periods will have a 12-month period of performance. PROPOSED STATEMENT OF WORK IS LOCATED AT WWW.CAMPBELL-DOC.ARMY.MIL FOR INDUSTRY COMMENTS. Comments should be submitted to this office no later than 16 March 2001; also, comments may be emailed to Angela Jacobs at Jacobsa@emh2.campbell.army.mil. NAICS code is 562111/$10Million. Acquisition is pursuant to FAR 19.10, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, therefore will be solicited on an Unrestricted basis; subsequent award will also be subject to the Program. There will be a price preference for identified Hubzone contractors that comply with the requirements of the solicitation as stipulated in FAR 19.1307. For the purpose of determining small business size as it relates to this acquisition, in order to be considered a mall business concern, a business concern and its affiliates annual revenue for the past 3 years must not have exceeded $10 million.
