THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. Industry comment sought by The Military District of Washington Acquisition Center (MDWAC) on the 100 per cent small business set-aside of the draft Fort Belvoir Performance Work Statement (PWS) for, but not limited to, Public Works (excluding base maintenance); Safety; Logistics; Historian; Resource Management; Internal Review; Provost Marshal support functions; Library, and Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention functions. The intent of this request is to refine the draft PWS for future inclusion into a RFP under an OMB Circular A-76 cost comparison study. MDWAC requests that industry carefully review the draft PWS and offer comments no later than 7 March 2001. Comments that do not include a reference to applicable portion of the draft PWS may not be considered. Comments and responses resulting from industry review will be published prior to issuance of any small business competitive commercial RFP. It is anticipated that a Cost Plus Award Fee solicitation will be issued. All questions and comments received from potential offerors will be considered by the government in preparation for the final RFP. Any changes made will be at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer. PROPOSALS ARE NOT REQUESTED AT THIS TIME AND WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Any information submitted is voluntary. The government will not pay for any information that is submitted in response to this request for industry comment. The draft PWS may only be viewed at http://mdwsps2.belvoir.army.mil/pws010209/pws010209.html. The government will not provide hard copy (paper sets) or CD-ROM of the draft PWS.
