Description

The United States Coast Guard Aircraft Repair and Supply Center, intends to negotiate a sole source contract to TFD Solutions, 102 Small Drive, Elizabeth City, NC for analytical support. TFD Solutions is the only known company that meets all minimum requirements and can provide the required expertise to build, operate and provide on-going maintenance concerning sparing data models that provide "what-if" analyses in sparing budgetary decision areas using only the V-MetericXL Spares Optimization DSS and EDCAS Spares Modeling software programs. Services are to be performed on site at the USCG/ARSC, Elizabeth City, NC. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541614 and the small business size standard is $5.0 million. The period of performance will be for 12 months from the date of award. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this requirement no later than 15 days from the publishing date of this announcement to the above address. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements. No solicitation document exists and request for such document will be considered non-responsive. Telephone requests will not be honored. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority. Women-owned, and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rate to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
