Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. FR024302640100 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22. A one-year firm-fixed price for Software/Hardware Depot Maintenance Support rom 7:30am -- 5:00pm Monday -Friday for the Air Weather Services Technical Library, Asheville, North Carolina is contemplated for the following items: Item 0001 _ 1 Lump Sum Software Maintenance, Item 0002 _ 1 Lump Sum Hardware Depot Maintenance. Period of Performance: 1 Oct 2000 through 30 September 2001. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors_Commercial (OCT 2000), FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders_Commercial Items (AUG 2000), FAR 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer_Central Contractor Registration (MAY 1999), DFARS 252.212-7001_Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (DEC 2000). All offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications_Commercial Items (JAN 2001) and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications_Commercial Items (NOV 1995) with its offer.
