Description

The synopsis for this solicitation is being updated with these changes. The "Assembly of a minimum of 250 ea DRAS platforms for first year" has been deleted. The requirement to assemble DRAS platforms still exists. However, the number of platforms to be assembled is unknown at this time. The award will be a Firm Fixed Price Five Year Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with Economic Price Adjustment. The minimum dollar amount is $2,000,000 and maximum is $29,000,000. Multiple awards may be made with the contract minimum / maximum amounts adjusted based on the number of awards. The $2,000,000 minimum will be split equally among the successful offerors. The contract minimum amount may be satisfied by any combination of orders for any of the items. A best value source selection will be based on technical capability, price, management, and past performance. First Article Tests will be conducted prior to beginning production. The solicitation will be available for download from the Natick Contracting Division's Web Site, http://www3.natick.army.mil on or about 28 February 2001. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered.
